Consultants' Network (Conet) Membership Information

Here is how Conet helps it's members
Printed
Directory:
We have a professionally created directory of members which is printed on a heavy stock in two colors. Each member has a 50 word description, highlighting his or her background. In addition, there is a quick reference index, in the front of the directory, with many keywords, and every members name. They are organized in a matrix so that finding someone who fits your needs can be found at a glance.
Web Site: We have a web site which brings in contract leads that are emailed or faxed to every member. It also generates requests for our printed directory, and helps bring in new members. Soon our web site will have a search engine to make finding a consultant easier.
Conet's Phone, Fax and Email: We have Three methods of being contacted, and forward those leads to all members within hours.
Monthly Meetings: We have a meeting every month of the year. For many meetings we bring in a guest speaker, who is an expert on a topic. Other meetings we will have some of our own experts, cover topics of interest to the membership, or will have an interactive meeting on important topics. Meetings are free and all are welcome to attend. They are held on the 2nd Monday of every month, from 7 to 9:30 PM, in the Moore School, University of Pennsylvania, at 32nd and Walnut streets, Philadelphia. The room number may vary but is usually on the second floor. The meeting notices are published in the IEEE Almanack every month.
Monthly News Letter: We send a monthly newsletter to every one who has attended our meeting in the last year. Just attend a meeting and fill out your contact information on our roll sheet.
Networking: This is what make us successful! Members helping members.
Our members get contracts from:
  • Our printed directory, which has a quick reference index of skills and members.
  • Our Web site directory.
  • Opportunities which are sent to us by phone, fax or email are immediately sent to all members via fax or email.
  • Networking: IE: members giving recommendations of other members
  • Their own marketing efforts.

  • Our members reported total revenues exceeding $600,000 in 1996 as a direct result of the Consultants Network! Remember that not everyone is giving us feedback, but we'll keep after them.

Do you have what it takes help us make 1999 a more successful year?

Would you like to be part of our network?

Just attend our meetings: they are free.

The only costs are $25 if you would like to be on our web site to help cover the costs of mailings, phone and fax expenses. Or, when members elect to print a new directory (once a year or every two years), about $100 to cover the layout and printing costs.

We hope you will join us,
    Regards,
