3 Months as an Internet "Columnist" (Spring/Summer 2000)

For a brief period of three months, this year, I worked (without any kind of compensation :( ) for an Internet magazine (eZine) called MadhurBharat. I wrote a weekly column for them. Of course, the magazine exists no more but here are the articles. They have been slightly modified from the way they were originally published. No effort has been made to check that all the links still work. Sorry!!! Some of the material is dated, but do read on..........first the blurb about myself.

Bharathi Palle has lived in the USA for quiet a bit now and is a compulsive reader - food labels, graffiti, newspapers, and of course books in any form (except books on audio-tape).

Her real job is far removed from fiction and fantasy. She works as a software engineer and deals with segmentation fault - core DUMP *$%#@ five days a week.

She dreams of the day she can name every variable in her programs after Hrithik (int iHrithikIsGreat, char *pszHrithikIsAwesome, float lHrithikIsTall), but alas, her company has code inspections.

Her minor interests include updating her website with plenty of useless information, below average photography, loud music, movies, and kittens.

She calls India very regularly to get recipes from her mother to the background of her father yelling, "Do you know how much these calls cost?"

She also dreams about seeing the Taj Mahal. .
